New libraries: ESP8266 AT, GSM AT and GPS NMEA parsers 18

New libraries: ESP8266 AT, GSM AT and GPS NMEA parsers

In the past few weeks, I was working on 3 new generic libraries, specially intended for embedded systems. Libraries are: ESP8266 AT parser version 2 GSM AT parser for SIMcom modules (SIM800, SIM900, etc) GPS NMEA parser for parsing NMEA statements from GPS output Each library is written in a way where user must prepare additional coding to support arhitecture where it is used. They are written in ANSII C and will work on any compiler which is in ANSII...

HAL Library 35- GPS parser for STM32Fxxx

GPS library is a generic NMEA GPS parser for STM32Fxxx devices. Library Read more about HAL libraries Features Parse GPS data Supported NMEA 0183 standard Works with GPGGA, GPRMC, GPGSA, GPGSV NMEA statements Calculate distance between 2 coordinates Calculate bearing between 2 coordinates Allows you to select custom NMEA statements

All STM32 HAL libraries

In this section, I will write all libraries based on HAL drivers from ST. If you see this first time, make sure you read this post first about how structure of my libs looks like! License All my softwares are published under MIT license. This means that you are allow to modify, share and use my source and other stuff in personal or commercial use. If you modify source code, it has to stay under GNU GPL v3 license too. I...

Project 04- GPS Logger with STM32F4xx and USB flash drive

It was nice Saturday day to try motor for first time this year for me. Using it with GPS logger, it was very fun to track myself where I drove for about half an hour. I’ve made a GPS data tracker using STM32F4-Discovery board. Project uses GPS device from ebay (UBLOX NEO-6M) and USB flash drive to store data onto. Project Project works with STM32F4- or STM32F429-Discovery boards. It was tested on F4-Discovery, because it has more LEDs than F429....

Library 27- Read GPS data on STM32F4 devices

Recently I got a cheap GPS module from ebay, NEO-6M. They said that this is flight controller, but position fix is good only on really flat area. When I made a library, I’ve connected my SDcard to STM32F4 to save data, result are here. To communicate with STM32F4 device, USART is in use. Most GPS modules have by default 9600 baudrate and 1Hz refresh rate of sending data. I got my GPS configured in 115200 baudrate and 5Hz refresh rate, so...

All STM32F4 libraries

Because there is a lot of libraries I have done, I will make a table with all of my libraries at one place. When new library will be created, it will be posted here. These libraries work on both Discovery boards, if not, it will be specified. Actually, libraries should work on STM32F4xx series of microcontrollers if they have peripherals that are need for library. All STM32F4xx MCUs don’t have everything inside. 🙂 Libraries are tested on my 4 STM32F4...
